Year 5
Teacher: Mr Tom Jakobsson
My name is Mr. Jakobsson and I am the Year 5 teacher at Stepney Greencoat. I am also the new Assistant Headteacher and subject co-ordinator for maths and science. I have been teaching for eleven years, nine of which have been at Stepney Greencoat school. I very much enjoy the close knit and nurturing atmosphere within the school. Being a single form entry schools means everybody gets to know each other really well, which gives the school a very special sense of community.
Having grown up in Wiltshire, I have lived in London for 31 years. Most of this time was spent in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, although I have been living in Camden for the last 9 years. I have two children who keep me very busy in my spare time.
Our Curriculum
A Knowledge Organiser is a go-to document for a topic/unit of work: each one identifies the key information that children need to have learned by the end of a topic.
At Stepney Greencoat we have Knowledge Organisers for each topic as well as for RE.
