Standards
- To continue raising standards in Writing
- To continue raising standards in Mathematics
- To ensure a high percentage of 'Good Teaching' across the school at all times
Curriculum
- To consolidate the renewed Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, and the new ICT and PE Frameworks
- To pilot an effective creative curriculum that is skills based, thematic, rigorous and focuses on global themes as well as on our local heritage
Assessment
- To embed the effective use of the Pupil Tracking Systems for all phases of learning and for all groups of pupils
Provision
- To further develop the pupils' workplace and other life-long skills for their future economic well-being
Leadership and Management
- To improve attendance figures (from 93.4% to 95%). The school will very much depend on our parents to help us achieve this target
- To support the professional development of the new members of staff
- To continue developing the leadership capacities of the Middle and Senior Management Teams
- To complete the development of a Single Equality Scheme based around equality strands such as race, gender, disability, religion and belief
- To develop the role of the new Parent Support Partner in order to continue to enhance the school's extended provision
- To further develop Community Cohesion by furthering parental engagement and global links
- To consolidate plans for celebrating the school's 300th anniversary
