Parenting Course at Stepney Greencoat School

We had our last session this week. Susanne and I are a bit worn out from running it but we've had a really good time and we've all come away with lots of new ideas. We were nine mums in total, all with different aged children. We also had three crèche helpers who did a great job of looking after the little ones.

Comments at the beginning of the course included "Why do I have to keep saying the same things over and over again?" "I'm glad no-one heard me this morning with my kids", "I've tried everything. I don't know what else to do."

The course programme looked at improving communication with our children and effective discipline. We also had a session looking at how to encourage our children's spiritual development.

Feedback at the end of the course: "it's been really helpful", "I'm going to give that a try", "I would definitely recommend it".
